The Cochrane Library
The Cochrane Library consists of a regularly updated collection of evidence-based medicine databases, including The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, which provide high quality information to people providing and receiving care and those responsible for research, teaching, funding and administration at all levels. All residents within the Island of Ireland can access The Cochrane Library for free, thanks to funding for a national provision by The Health Research Board in Dublin and The Research and Development Office in Belfast.

children's Information and Education Resource (PIER) has been developed to encourage communication and collaboration amongst healthcare professionals involved in the care and well being of children. PIER provides a venue through which high-quality information can be shared with the aim of improving the health and quality of life of children everywhere.

This describes a new initiative undertaken by Child Advocacy International in collaboration with UNICEF and with the technical support of the Child and Adolescent Health Department of WHO. The site includes PDF versions of 2 relevant papers in Pediatrics.
